Natural Force Vanilla MCT OilThis product is designed as a fun and tasty way to incorporate MCTs into your daily routine. It comes in a vanilla flavor which many customers add to their morning coffee. We like that it contains MCTs derived from coconuts and that it provides both C8 and C10 MCTs which are the most effective. The question is, does this product provide the health benefits you are searching for or is it just a tasty gimmick? When reviewing this product, we were pleased to see a price tag that suggests quality – not cheap, but definitely affordable. However, with the recommended dosage, you may go through the bottle relatively quickly and then the price will start adding up. Unfortunately, we did not find any discounts for buying in bulk. Many reviews we came across reported that the product arrived leaking so that would also be a financial loss as you can’t return a leaking product and you will also need to replace the product sooner. We appreciate that this product could provide a tasty way to take MCTs, but we believe a pure product will provide more health benefits as it won’t be watered down by the additional ingredients. There were also some complaints of it being difficult to pour and measure out the dosage, so you also may end up taking too much or too little. Read our full review to learn more. |

VitaTradingCo C8 MCT OilThis product claims to use ethically-sourced MCT oil to provide you with a formula designed to boost energy, improve brain power, help with weight management, and improve digestive health. It contains only C8 MCTs sourced from both Coconut oil and Palm Kernel oil. We liked that this product seems to only contain pure MCT oil without the addition of any flavorings and colorings. The product site was also detailed in explaining the benefits of C8 MCTs. However, we would have liked to see the inclusion of C10 MCTs too, as together these two types of MCTs provide powerful health benefits. The price of the product is indicative of quality, however, we were confused why the MCTs were derived from both Coconut oil and Palm oil. Palm oil is generally the less sustainable choice. There is also no indication of the daily dosage of MCTs on the product label which is provided on the site. The directions are also unclear how much of the product you should take in a serving which may cause stomach upset if you take too much, or be ineffective if you take too little.
